I remember watching a series on The History Channel titled "Engineering Disasters (probably 15 years ago). This is ripe for a relaunch of that series.

There’s a tasty book titled “Why Buildings Fall Down.” The author wrote it after his mother-in-law poo-pooed his first book, “Why Buildings Stand Up” as too boring.

Huh, I thought the gravitational pull of Musk’s huge ego was going to slingshot the Starship to Mars. And, of course, returning to Earth would mean he’d have to be in the crew…

If Starship ever launches for Mars, there are many human problems left to solve like how will the new Martian immigrants walk or move as they will have been in micro gravity for months. Yes, they will be exercising to keep bone mass etc. but it's quite another matter to be in gravity 24/7, 3 even if it is about 1/3 of Earth's. And this is IF they survive the 7-8 month trip and make a successful landing in thinner air and rugged terrain. Half-baked doesn't come close to accurately describing this grand idea.
