You don’t have to be a tech CEO. Virtually every Republican officeholder exhibits the same symptoms, and it doesn’t require AI. In fact, it’s the opposite of AI — it’s genuine, not artificial, and it’s either stupidity or willful malevolence, not intelligence.

I suspect it’s a function of having too much money and power. Lots of billionaires had this wether it was Henry ford or Hughes

That explains so much, about Musk and Thiel and some of these other weirdos. Not that it's comforting in the least, but having a reason helps.

A century ago, Thomas Edison put millions into mineral crushing machines and 3D printed concrete houses (with integral concrete furniture). Was he a delusional visionary?

At least with Trump we don’t need to discuss a transition from genius to madness.

I chalk up the tech bros erratic, and bizarre behaviors to frequent micro-dosing of various drugs, biohacking, living in self-created bubbles populated by sycophants and above average levels of narcissism.
